  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cold unsalted butter (2 sticks)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, toss blackberries with lime juice and half the sugar; let sit to macerate.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Press half the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan; layer macerated blackberries on top, followed by remaining crumb mixture.
