  • ¾ cup melted unsalted butter
  • 12 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 12 ounces Cool Whip
  • 6 ounces plant-based strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 3 to 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries

  2. Combine crushed pretzels, ¾ cup sugar, and melted butter until well mixed; press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown; let cool completely.
  4. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese with remaining sugar and vanilla until smooth; fold in Cool Whip gently.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together strawberry gelatin and boiling water until dissolved; fold in sliced strawberries.
  7. Chill the gelatin mixture for about 15 minutes until thickened but not set, then pour over the cream cheese layer.
