  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon celery flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare your jalapeños by chopping them finely along with minced garlic.
  2. In a small pot, combine white vinegar, water, sugar, celery flakes, and salt. Heat over medium-high until it reaches a boil.
  3. Spoon the jalapeño-garlic mixture into mason jars.
  4. Pour the hot pickling liquid over the chopped peppers in each jar until filled to about half an inch from the top.
  5. Let the jars cool at room temperature for about ten minutes before sealing tightly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours (a week is ideal) to allow flavors to meld before enjoying.
