Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and flour three 6-inch cake tins and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cake flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, sour cream, and vanilla; set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until creamy. Gradually add egg whites and mix until smooth.
  5. Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk mixture to the creamed butter mixture until just combined.
