  • 1/2 pound shredded corn beef
  • 4 tablespoons sauerkraut
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • Butter or oil for crisping

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
  2. On the unbuttered side of one slice, spread 2 tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing.
  3. Layer with two slices of Swiss cheese, followed by half the shredded corn beef and 2 tablespoons of sauerkraut.
  4. Add another dollop of dressing on top and place another slice of bread (buttered side out) on top. Secure with toothpicks if desired.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  6. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until crispy and cheese is melted.
