  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples (about 3 medium)
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined. Gradually add flour until crumbly.
  3. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  4. In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg. Layer over the crust.
  5. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apple layer.
  6. Sprinkle remaining crumble mixture on top.
  7. Bake for about 40-45 minutes until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
  8. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
