  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1 egg
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 34 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla extract, spices, and an egg; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until creamy.
  4. Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle and cut into strips for filling.
  5. Score edges of each pastry piece, then fill with cream cheese and pumpkin mixtures as directed.
  6. Brush edges with an egg wash before baking for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly on wire racks before drizzling with glaze made from confectioner’s sugar and milk.
