  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the peanut butter mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter and white sugar until smooth; add cocoa powder, egg, and vanilla extract. Fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips until combined.
  4. Chill both doughs in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Scoop tablespoons of each dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and swirl together with a toothpick.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
