Ingredients

  • Yukon Gold or red-skinned potatoes
  • Heavy cream
  • Butter
  • Fresh rosemary, thyme, or sage
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • Grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle 3 tablespoons of parmesan cheese inside.
  3. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream with butter, herbs, salt, pepper, and the garlic base until combined. Stir in all but 1/4 cup of parmesan.
  4. Thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline and layer them in the prepared dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes covered, then uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until golden brown.
