  • 18 grams orange zest
  • 105 grams granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 115 grams melted butter
  • 180 grams fresh orange juice

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease an 8½ x 4½ inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, mix granulated sugar with orange zest until fragrant.
  4. Whisk in eggs to the sugar-zest mixture, then add melted butter and fresh orange juice.
  5. Combine wet and dry mixtures gently until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-38 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
