  • 5 TBSP unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup oil (canola or vegetable)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 TBSP cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/8 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup mini candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, melted butter, oil, and vanilla until smooth. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt; mix until combined.
  3. Fold in semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, salt, brown sugar, white sugar, peanut butter, vanilla extract, egg, quick oats, mini chocolate chips, and candies until well mixed.
  5. Spread half of the brownie batter in the pan. Layer on the cookie dough mixture and dollop remaining brownie batter on top. Swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let cool before slicing.
