  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 lb beef sausage
  • 1 cup chopped turkey pepperoni
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 (26-oz) jar tomato basil pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425ºF. Lightly spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in turkey pepperoni, flour, and 3 teaspoons of Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  4. Add tomato basil pasta sauce and bring to a boil; then remove from heat.
  5. Spoon meat mixture into the baking dish and top with 1½ cups mozzarella cheese.
  6. Unroll pizza dough over the cheese layer, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle remaining Italian seasoning along with half a cup of mozzarella cheese and Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
