  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 11×7 inch pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, sugar, and dark brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients; fold in chopped apples gently.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
