  • 12 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion (diced)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes (don’t drain)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste; mix well.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and adjust with water for desired consistency. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a simmer for about 10 minutes before adding uncooked bowtie pasta. Cook until al dente.
  7. Serve hot topped with ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and garnish with fresh parsley.
