- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (such as sriracha)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush half of the hot honey mixture over the top of the salmon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through and flaky. Brush with remaining hot honey mixture during the last two minutes of baking.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
