  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (such as sriracha)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush half of the hot honey mixture over the top of the salmon.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through and flaky. Brush with remaining hot honey mixture during the last two minutes of baking.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
