  • ¼ cup hot cocoa powder
  • 15 large vegan marshmallows (for frosting)
  • ½ cup cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ½ cup to 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In another bowl, combine warm milk and melted butter.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients; add the egg and knead until smooth.
  4. Let dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size (about 30 minutes).
  5. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter and sprinkle hot cocoa powder on top.
  6. Roll tightly into a log and slice into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a greased pan and allow them to rise again.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Make frosting by melting vegan marshmallows and mixing with softened butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar.
