Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in or boneless beef chops (1-inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Place the beef chops in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add more olive oil if necessary. Remove the beef from the marinade (reserve marinade) and cook the chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  4. Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet during the last few minutes of cooking to create a glaze.
  5. Let the chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
