Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ lbs salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • ¼ cup honey (or pure maple syrup)
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels. In a bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the salmon with seasoning and one tablespoon of oil until evenly coated.
  2. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned salmon cubes for about 4–5 minutes, flipping often until golden and crispy on all sides. Transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil along with minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, and honey; let simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Return the salmon to the skillet and gently toss to coat with the sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
