  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

  • ⅓ cup whole milk
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, vanilla extract, and sugar; bring to a boil.
  2. Gradually stir in the flour until the mixture forms a ball that pulls away from the sides of the pan.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before adding eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Drop tablespoon-sized portions onto a lined baking sheet, spaced two inches apart.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes at 400°F, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and cut small slits in each puff to release steam; allow to cool completely.
  7. Whip together heavy cream, milk, and instant pudding until thickened; fill cooled puffs with the mixture.
