  • 1 (21 oz) can premium cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • milk as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, almond extract, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Gradually incorporate flour and salt until just combined.
  4. Press half of the dough into a greased baking pan. Spread cherry filling evenly over the dough. Dollop remaining dough on top.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Cool completely before drizzling with glaze made from confectioners’ sugar, almond extract, vanilla, and milk.
