Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200C/400F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine milk and vinegar; let sit for 10 minutes until slightly curdled.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, sugar, and baking soda.
  4. Gradually add the curdled milk to dry ingredients while gently stirring until just combined.
  5. Lightly flour a surface, knead the dough gently for about 8-10 times, then shape into a dome.
  6. Make shallow cuts across the top of the dough and place it on a lined baking tray.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
