  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the apples into wedges about half an inch thick. Remove the core and seeds.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  4. Dredge each apple slice in flour, then dip it in egg, followed by pressing it into the breadcrumb mixture until well coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about three minutes.
  6. Arrange the breaded apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray them with cooking spray.
  7. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
