- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 14.5 ounces petite diced tomatoes
- 8 ounces ditalini pasta
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- In a large pot, brown the turkey sausage until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Add diced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; sauté for 1-2 minutes until onions soften.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and petite diced tomatoes; bring to a boil. Add ditalini pasta and cook for about 8 minutes until al dente.
- Reduce heat to medium; stir in cream cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
