  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary (or ½ teaspoon dried rosemary)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional, for added depth)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add sliced onions, sprinkle with salt, and sauté until golden brown (20-25 minutes).
