Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice zucchinis in half lengthwise and score the flesh side. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, heat garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and 2 tablespoons olive oil until fragrant. Set aside.
  4. Pat zucchinis dry and sear in the skillet with remaining olive oil until golden brown (2-3 minutes). Transfer to a baking sheet.
