  • 3 and 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 and 1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • Cornmeal

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and flour until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for about 90 minutes or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Punch down the risen dough and roll out on a floured surface to desired thickness.
  7. Spread minced garlic on the crust; top with mozzarella, parmesan, and basil.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before slicing.
