  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons monkfruit sweetener (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar-free semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
  • 12 teaspoons water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, egg, cocoa powder, salt, and monkfruit sweetener (if using). Stir until well blended.
  2. Add one tablespoon of chocolate chips to the mixture and adjust consistency with water if needed.
  3. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the preheated waffle maker and sprinkle with half of the remaining chocolate chips. Close the lid and cook for about 2-3 minutes until no steam escapes.
