  • 140 g unsalted butter (room temp)
  • 100 g neutral oil
  • 283 g whole milk (room temp)
  • 2 eggs (room temp)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 227 g unsalted butter (room temp)
  • 12 oz cream cheese (cold)
  • 340 g powdered sugar (sifted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy; add eggs one at a time along with vanilla.
