  • 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour (180g)
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled (1 stick butter/8 tbsp)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (50g)
  • ⅓ cup light or dark brown sugar, packed (25g)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp freeze-dried blueberry powder (6g)
  • 24 tbsp blueberry jam (14g-42g), see recipe notes below
  • Liquid, gel, or powder food coloring (blue, green)
  • 1 tbsp melted milk or dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp melted white chocolate
  • Oil-based food coloring (for pink/red)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined. Add freeze-dried blueberry powder and blueberry jam.
  4. Portion out dough on a lined baking sheet and shape into 'Oddish' forms if desired.
  5. Bake for about 11 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
  6. Once cooled slightly, drizzle melted chocolate over cookies for decoration.
