  • 400 g /1 lbs beef mince
  • ½ cup scallion/spring onion (finely chopped, about 3 bulbs)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice apple vinegar
  • ½ tsp dark brown sugar
  • â…› tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp rice apple vinegar (for dipping sauce)
  • 1 tsp soy sauce (for dipping sauce)
  • â…› tsp sesame oil (for dipping sauce)
  • 1 tsp dark brown sugar (for dipping sauce)
  • ¼ tsp ginger (for dipping sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, chopped scallions, minced garlic and ginger, soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, sea salt, and white pepper until well combined.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place about one tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold it into a triangle shape, pressing firmly to seal.
  3. Cook the wontons by either boiling them in boiling water until they float or pan-frying in oil until golden brown on both sides.
  4. For the dipping sauce, combine rice apple vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, dark brown sugar, and minced ginger. Serve hot alongside the wontons.
