  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken in a resealable bag or dish and pour marinade over it. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (ideally 2 to 4 hours).
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove chicken from fridge and let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. Line a baking dish with foil or parchment paper and lightly grease.
  5. Arrange chicken in the baking dish and pour remaining marinade over them.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with sides of choice.
