  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it well.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just mixed.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine nuts and spices; fold this mixture into the batter.
  6. Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
