  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats (quick oats)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in flour, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Press the mixture into the prepared pan to form the crust. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden.
  4. In another bowl, combine sliced apples with sugar, flour, and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. For the streusel topping, mix oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and cubed cold butter until crumbly.
  6. Spread the apple filling over the crust and sprinkle with streusel topping. Bake for approximately 45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
